Now thru July 1 | school supply kits

As we near the end of this school year, it's time to start thinking about next year! Did you know you can support POA by purchasing your supply kits for next year? Our school receives a percent back on each kit sold. Each grade level kit includes the supplies that our school has requested for next year and the kits ship directly to your home before school starts. The deadline to order is July 1. Pre-order your kits at this LINK before July 1. This is optional, as families always have the choice to purchase their own supplies. You can find the supply lists for next year on the POA website (LINK). 



As this year comes to an end, please help us in thanking all of our wonderful POA staff by participating in the Thank You Card Campaign! 


Use the Thank You card sign up to select staff members to thank. We are asking each family to select 1-2 staff members. Please send the thank you cards back to school in an envelope marked Thank You Card Campaign, so they are delivered to the correct location. You can send them back with your child or drop them in the mailbox located in the front office. Please do NOT include any gift cards. Cards are due by Friday, May 10

Yard Sign Pick-Up (5th & 8th Grade)

Congratulations on your upcoming 5th or 8th grade milestone! It's certainly an accomplishment and something we celebrate! PTO has purchased yard signs for each student in Grade 5 and Grade 8 to celebrate the promotion to middle school or high school! One sign is provided per student. Sign pick up will be on May 9 and May 10 from 2:00-3:00 pm, out front by the Charger Rock. We encourage families to pick up signs for friends or neighbors, but please know you MUST provide the full name for each student you are picking up for. 


8th Grade Class Photo & DC Trip Photo
Congratulations 8th graders! PTO has purchased a panoramic class photo for each student. We will be distributing class photos and DC trip photos on May 9 and May 10 from 2:00-3:00 pm, out front by the Charger Rock. Stop by and grab your yard sign as well. One class photo, one DC photo (if applicable) and one yard sign is provided per student. 



As we wrap up the school year, we will begin to send home your child’s school supplies. If you were part of POA last May, you may recall we collected new, unused school supplies from our families and replenished items for our entire staff throughout the year. If you wish to donate back your unused school supplies, please email to your child’s homeroom teacher prior to Friday, May 17. No action is required if you want the items to return home. 
All staff have access to the donated supplies throughout the year and we even offer monthly shopping times. The school supply closet was so helpful to our staff the past three years and we are grateful for your continued support of this initiative.
