CHARGERS CHARITY PROJECT – FEBRUARY 23-27

From February 23 - 27, the PTO will be hosting our annual Family Service Project, Chargers

Charity. We are proud to partner with St. Johns Cares again this year to collect essential items

for local children and teens in need.

 

Our donations will directly support students at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind and

Port in the Storm, a youth homeless shelter in St. Augustine.

 

How You Can Help To ensure a wide variety of supplies, we are asking each grade level to

contribute specific items (all items must be nut-free):

 

Kindergarten: Fruit snacks and dried fruit

1st Grade: Apple sauce

2nd Grade: Juice boxes

3rd Grade: Shampoo/conditioner

4th Grade: Body lotion

5th Grade: Body wash

6th Grade: Animal crackers

7th Grade: Popcorn

8th Grade: Hair ties and deodorant

 

Additionally, we encourage all families to donate cereal boxes of any size!

Thank you for your generosity and for helping our students learn the value of giving back to our

community.

 

STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK - MARCH 9-12

We are thrilled to treat our staff to a wonderful staff appreciation week.  Our staff is the heart of our school and we are excited to celebrate “The Greatest Staff on Earth.”  Staff will be treated to daily meals provided by PTO and we invite you to participate in this event as follows:

 

Monday – bring in a card or note for your teacher or staff member

Tuesday – bring in your teacher’s or staff member’s favorite snack or treat

Wednesday – bring your teacher’s or staff member’s favorite flower

Thursday – bring in a gift card for your teacher or staff member

LITERATI BOOK FAIR - MARCH 27-APRIL 2

Our Spring Book Fair is almost here!  We will be running the book fair in one week this year and we need your help!  Elementary students will be attending the book fair during their media rotation.  Middle school students will be allowed to shop between 8:00-9:00 as teachers allow, during lunch, and at other times as approved by teachers.

General Meetings

Join us for our first General Meeting of the school year on Monday, August 25, at 9:00 am in the cafeteria. PTO Members will vote on the budget for the 2025-2026 school year and discuss upcoming PTO events.

Other General Meetings will be held on the following dates:
November 3, 8:30 am
February 2, 8:30 am
April 6, 8:30 am
